Movement Feature of Moving Jaw of the Jaw Crusher
This article will compare the compound pendulum jaw crusher and the simple pendulum jaw breaker. From the analysis of the moving trajectory of the compound pendulum jaw crusher, we can learn that the upper horizontal displacement of the moving jaw is approximately 7.5 times as the lower horizontal displacement of the moving jaw. However, the vertical displacement distance of the upper part is slightly less than that of the lower part. For the entire movable jaw, the vertical displacement distance is two to three times as the distance of the horizontal displacement. From the analysis of the moving features of moving jaw of the compound pendulum jaw crusher, we have learned the following aspects.
First, when the jaw plate presses the materials, the moving jaw plate will partly do downward movement with the materials, which will produce a kind of power to promote the materials to move downward do speed up the discharge rate and improve the yield. The practice has proved that the yield of the compound pendulum jaw crusher is 20% to 30% higher than that of the simple pendulum jaw breaker with the same specifications.
Second, the upper horizontal pendulum momentum of the moving jaw is higher than the lower Horizontal pendulum momentum so that the bulk materials can be easily crushed on the upper part. The work area of the entire jaw plate is relatively uniform. It can meet crushing principles and it is conducive to the uniformity of the workloads of the jaw plate.
Third, there is great downward vertical moving force of the lower moving jaw while unloading, which can promote the discharging and repeatedly turn the products which have been crushed. In this way, the long flake products are reduced and the products are discharged as the block of materials in cubic shape. In the compound pendulum jaw crusher, the materials also suffer from the grinding effect besides the crushing, chipping and folding crushing effect, which can improve the crushing force of the materials and can improve the production capacity.
Forth, the large vertical displacement of the movable jaw exacerbates the friction between the materials and jaw plate so that the jaw plate is worn rapidly. At the same time, the overcrushing phenomenon is exacerbated.
