The traditional overload protection measure has the advantages of simple structure and easy manufacture. However, since the volatility of the mechanical performance of the bracket is relatively large and it is limited to the calculation accuracy, the control breaking point can not be accurately measured.
The second is the protection of the limit moments for the flywheel. You can use the spring friction clutch, hydraulic friction clutch or the safety pin. Such method is often used for the simple pendulum jaw crusher. This kind of clutch should ensure the transfer of the torque under normal condition. In addition, it should make the torque transferred not be more than the allowable value. When there are foreign bodies falling into the crushing chamber, the overload of the machine will appear, which may reach the critical torque. The flywheel can slide freely on the spindle, which can protect the components of the jaw crusher.
The third way is the hydraulic protection. Since the above two overload protection methods may cause certain accidents, which will not suitable for the needs of the production.
